      Good Morning Ladies,

so we're past the big game and GREENBAY  won! I was wooting for Pittsburg but it was a great game so ladies with all the hoopla of the event from pre-game to the end what commercials did you find were the best? Today is an off day for me so I'll be spending it relaxing and just writing in my book today, how will you spend the rest of your day?

Waking up in today was another blessing from God, I thank him for it!

        • Good Morning!

I’m really not into professional football so it really didn’t matter to me who won but I did end up pulling for Greenbay and I was pleased they won.  To me they seem to be much more energetic and pumped up than the Steelers.

I can actually say that I like all the commercials. Some to me where just stupid and didn’t make a lot of sense.
The nursing home one for I think was for a car...(funny I can’t remember now) but I laughed at that one.  The Doritos was funny and I know I missed a few others.

The pre-show with the girl from Glee was awesome.  That girl can sing.
Christina Aguilera was dressed appropriately but she forgot the words to the national anthem...ummm not good.
Blackeyed Peas..well I do love them but they did not sound good at all. I loved their presentation...the show part but they sounded awful. I was disappointed. Slash & Usher I thought were good and Usher sounded great. The dancers were good...and again..the overall presentation was great...but the sound was a mess.
I missed the Glee commercial afterwards...I drifted off to sleep.

Now.....time for baseball...not into the basketball.

        • I didn’t watch any of the Superbowl.  The joy of having to learn Human Biology on-line.  I am getting so frustrated in that class its like trying to learn Biology from watching Dexter’s Laboratory. If it would not be for Danielle giving me her books from Biology I would not be able to pass this class.
The one commercial that I did see is the Darth Vader one.  It was just to cute.

        • Good Morning!  Mary I agree with you on the half time show.  Was not impressed with the Peas at all!  I was going to cook those sliders that Vikki listed last week but we ended up going to a Super Bowl party so we’ll have the sliders tonight.  I had already prepared the patties, sliced the tomatoes and all the other stuff.  I liked the VW commercial witht the little boy who was dressed as Darth Vader.  I thought in past games they had much funnier commercials than this year.  But I had a really good time.  Ton’s of good food, good friends and a good game!  Now, it’s back to work.happy

        • Good morning ladies.  I watched the game on and off a bit.  Didn’t care who won, except my daughter was rather obnoxious about her Steelers, so I’m glad Greenbay won.  LOL!

I like the Darth Vader commercial too.  There was also one for I think it was cars.com that was very cute.  The doritos one with the pug, most of the Bud Lite ones were cute.

I’ve got a busy day today.  Going to bake some bread as soon as I get off here, then daughter and I are headed out into the snow for a short road trip then son’s basketball game tonight.  It’s parents night so I have to be there even if he is only sitting on the bench.

The wholes half time was a waste of time. It will go down as the worst ever!! lol

          That is all we watched....
I am glad the packers knocked the steelers off their throne though. tongue out

        • I’m from MN so if you know anything about the border wars, you’ll know the Vikings and the Packers are rivals. I had to laugh when I saw a fellow MNan write on his FB page today, “Congrats, Packer fans, but even though you won, you are still from Wisconsin...”

          heh heh heh
