Hello, Sisters in Christ!  I need prayers for my son who is going through some really tough times right now.  He is 19 and is addicted to alcohol, pills, and has now gotten into meth.  He is also facing legal trouble due to his addictions and is threatening suicide because he doesn’t see a way out.  Please pray that he can get the help that he needs and can get through this. Through prayer all things are possible!

        • Oh Mamie, I pray that your son finds the strength he needs to help himself, and that he knows he is loved, and is worth it.  I also pray for your strength and that you know you are not alone.

        • Mamie,

I shall pray for you and your son. May God grant you strength and wisdom to deal with this situation and remember that with God ALL things are possible. Cast that fear away as it does not come from God. Keep your focus and thoughts on God, as we humans cannot do anything. Thus we need to surrender this and let go, and let God take over. He will keep you in perfect peace when your mind is focussed on Him. Hugs.

          Sandy

        • Mamie,

I am praying for both you and your son.  I pray that your son receives the support and compassion that he needs to help him through this challenging time.  May God intercede on his behalf to send him to the right place to begin treatment and recovery.

I want to mention that your son speaking of suicide should be taken very seriously and for you to attempt to get him evaluated in a psychiatric emergency room or a local hospital.  I am praying for God to protect your son and shield him from any harm or danger.  Also, may our Heavenly Father comfort and strengthen both of you.

          God Bless,
          Dana

        • I am sorry I just seen this request. I will continue to pray for the both of you. Both my sons had this problem and I can honestly say that God heard my prayers and answered them. Both have been sober for going on 2 years now-Thank you Jesus. Don’t give up...

        • He is doing better. He has begun treatment so it will be a long road ahead of him but he is ready for a change and acknowledges he needs help. Thanks for all the prayers that have been said for him!
