  • QUESTION: How much water go you drink daily? What are your water goals?

      Water is the thing I struggle with the most. I never get enough. I try to drink at least 8 glasses a day, but typically end up with about 5 or 6. Ideally, I would like to drink 10.  

      If it is true that by the time you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated, then I am almost always dehydrated.

      How are you doing with your water intake?
      How do you plan to increase it??

          I drink an average of 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. I have a glass of water when I wake up. I bring a water container filled with 32oz of filtered water with me to work everyday. And another glass at least 2-3 hours before I go to bed. You should drink enough to make sure that the color of your urine is pale yellow and does not have an odor. If you are running to the bathroom every minute you are drinking too much water!! Hope this helps!!

        • 2 medium sized bottles a day... one third of the way that i stay in shape is constantly drinking.  

          Even if I am not thirsty, and even if it makes me run to the bathroom 30x a day. I am always drinking water.

          Its great for your skin, keeps you hydrated, and makes me feel as if it is helping my digestive system... a glass in the morning and the day just got lighter ; )

        • I’m trying to drink more water too since I’m on the Atkins diet. I drink the bottled water because it’s convenient and I don’t have to think about it as much. I make myself take 7 swallows each time I take a drink.  A 24 oz bottle gets gone really fast like that.  It’s not necessary to drink more than 8 (8oz) glasses of water a day and too much water can actually be harmful to your body!

        • I drink water all day long.  I had kidney prblems as a kid so I never had the chance to get hooked on soda wasn’t allowed to drink it.  Besides I figure if I’m going to drink my calories I’ll save them for wine with dinner.

        • Water is also great for wieght loss, I used to drink 3 liters a day. It was great for my skin and I ran to the bathroom all the time, but I felt better. I’ve been trying to get back to that. If you work out and sweat, drink coffee or smoke you have to replenish.

        • 8 to 10 glasses a day help you eliminate the toxins in your body.

          It gets a little harder when the weather changes and it is cold but you must do it because your body needs water.  Think of your body as a toilet, you have to flush it so you can eliminate by drinking water.
