        • I love it! No wonder because I wrote a novel called “Real Women Wear Red.” :)

I have red glasses, a red purse, red tops but no red dress yet. But then I don’t wear dresses. If I did, I would wear red.

        • Red is all over Europe, I tried buying red boots, but couldn’t fit my plumpy legs.....

Had to settle for a red purse.

        • Oh that Red Dress is beautiful! I just bought fall colored RED Shoes....I went out to get an engagement calender and saw these perfect Red Heels ...“Hello lover”

Needless to say I didn’t get the engagement calender that day.

Oh Kathy, how wonderful! I will look for your book and get it - Good for you!!!"Real Women Wear Red." I Love the NAME!!!

Oh I am the same Yana... with buying boots because of my plumpy legs....I have a problem with the fit.

Now I need a new purse to match.

        • Red is ALWAYS in.

When I was a young teenager, I hated the way I looked so much that I wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.  My mother cut my hair and made my clothes.  Needless to say, I had a bad hair day every day.  And my clothes were in such dreary, washed-out colors that I looked like a gray mouse.  My minimal colors created a minimal personality.  I was so painfully shy and awkward that very few people sought me out for friendship.

My sister, who was 14 months younger, was just the opposite.  She was outgoing and popular - a cheerleader who went with the captain of the football team.  Everyone wanted to be friends with her.

When I was 17, I got a RED DRESS for my birthday.  When I looked at myself in the mirror, I was transformed on the spot.  “This is the way I SHOULD look.  This is the person I was BORN to be,” I said to myself.  From that moment on, I changed myself both inside and out.

You see, red represents courage, and that dress gave me the courage to tell my mother that I didn’t want to be a concert pianist.  That was what she wanted.  Red is life itself, and that red dress enabled me to begin developing my own personality, instead of fading away in the shadow of my sister’s overpowering personality.

My life changed dramatically.  I went from a gray mouse to an internationally-known speaker and presenter who helps others catapult their careers and their income.  And it all began with a RED DRESS.

        • Ditto! Red is always in! It’s by far my favorite color, I think passion and power when I see red.

It's my color for my [Link Removed]- some say that you should not use red on a website - that it makes one feel angry. Huh?
If that is what people feel when they go on my website, I would hope someone would tell me!

I have a few [Link Removed]and earring sets that I adore!
So I say, wear your red anyway that makes you comfortable! And if you are wearing it around your face, choose the right red for your skin color.

        • Hi Dee,
Red is the most powrful color in the world, because it symbolizes life itself. When you look at it, you snap out of your “nine to five” or “another day another dollar” robot mode. Don’t be afraid of red ever.

About your website. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the lettuce green color - food color combinations are always less classy (lettuce and tomatoe, ketchup and mustard). Have you thought of using a classy French blue instead? And I would add a little more red when you do!!

          Sandy

        • Hi Sandy,
Thank you for your constructive comments! I really appreciate your honesty and its very refreshing to get comments whether they are what I want to hear or not. Family, friends and even  customers have never commented on that. Probably because they  worry about hurting my feelings. But this is business.

I never thought of the food color combinations. That is so very interesting. Green is my 2nd favorite color :). I will seriously look at changing that green background. I’ve actually toned the red down on my site - how funny is that?

By the way, after reading your incredible bio, I cannot imagine you ever being a gray mouse :).

          Thank you again,
          Toni
