What is your favoiter Ritual?  And why?

Mine is Samhain.  I love that time of year.  And  I feel much closer to the spirt world at that time also.

        • So I get that the one you are talking about is to celebrate the end of fall (right?) so  about how many rituals are there and what are the main reasons of celebration?

        • Being of native ancestry we have a few of our own rituals...one that I love is smudging...that is when you light up some sweet grass...or cedar or whatever sacred medicine that you feel comfortable with...and smudge...you can smudge yourself...there are different ways of smudging...I like to wave the smoke onto my body...not forgetting important parts...my heart...my eyes and my head...this is a cleansing ritual...helps to clear your body and spirit of all that is negative and bothersome...
You can also smudge your home...much in the same way as you would your body...this wards of negative feelings...a good way to give one a sense of peace of mind.
