What is up with this? Why so many at once? This is very interesting to me...

Do you think they are just done?
Is it because they think they won’t be re-elected?
Is it because they don’t agree with the administration?

Do you think it will impact healthcare reform?
Will the Obama administration accelerate their plans?

Either way, this will better balance both the senate and the house, and I am looking forward to more checks and balances.

        • I heard a brief report about this earlier, but didn’t get to hear all of it. I plan to catch up on it later tonight.

        • Annie I agree that we need balance to keep it in check. However when the majority is hostile NOTHING gets accomplished.
According to the Guvernator on meet the press it’s all about cycles.... And I agree!

        • I think it’s a combo of everything.  I think we can agree that most of us want the best for everyone.  We truly want people to have healthcare...we don’t want people to be poor...and we want everyone to just get along.  But it aint’ happenin‘!  (I love to speak like a southern hick sometimes...happy)

But I do believe that some of these Democrats...know they have royally screwed up....and they know how the majority of Americans feel...and frankly...I think they know they are going to be voted out anyway...so why go through all election crap.  I think the majority has already spoken and said....you will hear us loud and clear in 2010!! Now...with that said....who in the heck are we going to put up there???  I certainly do not want anymore professional politicians.  Obviously that isn’t working for us......time to go with a new group of folks....who geniunely care about Americans!!!  NOt the game of politics....

        • I doubt if they are asked directly we’d get a straight and honest answer. They ARE politicians, you know!

Side note on the Governator - Joe and I were in Sacramento a couple of years ago and saw T-shirts that said “our governor could kick your governor’s ass.” We almost bought one for our governor, Linda Lingle. We know her and she would have laughed hysterically and probably worn it. We chicken’s out. Neither one of us wanted to take it to the check stand.
