This has been a nemesis of mine. I don’t feel very creative except in my chocolate making. But I’d love to take a drawing class, learn more about photography, develop a knack for decorating or experiment with a pottery wheel.
What are some of your creative endeavors??
I use rubber bands to tie and fix things whenever I can. Does that count?
I love this one Cyn!
Technically my creative process has been in the hair industry and then in how to build (market) individual stylists and other salon professionals.
But since I have quit that lifestyle I have had a chance to dabble in things previously no time or energy for.
Cooking
Gardening
Jewelry making
Scrapbooking
Painting
And if learning how to relax and not live by the clock or calendar can be considered creative I have been learning that too

Love cooking, I think I might be getting the hang of gardening and in the future I will pick up my paint brushes again.
How sad, I really don’t have anything creative![]()
I would love to do photography, I love taking pics. Theres a place down the street from me that has jewelry making classes, was thinking about that. Definitly scrapbooking sounds fun, but with my lack of energy, who knows when all this would happen.
You all have great creative Ideas![]()
I write, draw and paint. Can also cook when I feel up to it, but that’s not too often LOL.
MY love is illustrating whimsical art of all kinds.
I did a jungle theme in my sons’ room and I did a Where the Wild things are mural on wallpaper that was AWESOME!!
Art and drawing has been in my blood since i was old enough to hold a crayon.
I admire artistic ability in the area! I can’t even draw stick people!
I love cooking, singing, gardening, shopping, bird watching, writing, entertaining people, event planning, Interior decorating, floral designing and I too recently began to paint on canvas.
"As you open the door to new relationships and remove the chain from your own fears, God will overwhelm you with new splendor."
I use to love to draw, thats all I did when I was little, I had drawings laying around the room everywhere. I even drew some really nice pics for my mom, but I don’t know If she still has them, I also drew a picture of Michael Jackson, but I cannot find It anywhere, I’m so upset about that cause I did a pretty banging job on It.
OMG, I would die without creating something at least once a week.
I cook almost daily and at least few times a week I try something very new. This week was two new amazing salads, I will take pics next time and post recipes.
This weekend I made few pieces of jewelry. One is a necklace. The other should of been a pin, but it’s still in the process of deciding whether I like it as a pin or as a chocker.
yanna - I love your jewlery!
Vikki - You need to be my new best friend as I suck with doing my hair. No matter how much I try, it never looks like the salon
I have recently started working on gardening and planted bulbs and putting in stones and ground cover. I really am enjoying it and hoping I don’t kill my plants.
i like to do a lot of creative things:
Jewelry making
Paint with oils and acrylics on canvas when I can’t find a picture for a wall.
Interior Design
Gardening
Floral arrangements
Shopping for other people
Buying anything for accessorizing and tweaking it.
Visualizing anything to make it fit.
Until next time...![]()
Denise

Frannie! Im surrrrre you have something!
Yana..your jewelry looks so pretty!![]()
And I love MzTracy’s jewelry
I guess my creative side would be shopping...LOL
I’m good at that just ask hubby
It’s fun to learn to do something new!...I bought a book/learning kit called “I Taught Myself Knitting” from Wal-Mart, and I’ve been having a great time making all kinds of things.
I knit gifts for friends and family ,and that’s fun, but my most fulfilling projects are sweaters and blankets for refugee kids. When they come from places like Burma to Spokane, Washington, and they‘re COLD! We get cold winters here. I try to make them really cute because I think some of these kids have never had a nice, new thing in their lives.

I love illustrating whimsical art.
“here birdie birdie” makes me smile everytime.
Here are a few of my images :) I draw, paint, hand print, make custom wedding stationery, love photography, make lamps and lampshades...fabric designs....Made some crazy jewelry...sigh so little time to do it all!! The pea in the pod is a shower invite I illustrated and the witch is a greeting card I designed/illustrated for hipster cards and (they failed to pay me as agreed)

Awe Mindy I absolutely love your work!
You are so talented :)
Thanks for sharing !
PS I think that is absolutely AWFUL that you were not paid for the job you did. Some people have no conscience!
Love your work Mindy...People tell me all the time that I’m creative and I just do not see it. I do like to decorate...love doing different and unique things in the home..for Christmas....packages etc.
I love scrapbooking and I like unique pages.
I am NOT a cook and really do not enjoy it at all. I like quick and easy...but healthy too.
I would love to be able to draw and paint....and eventually will try my hand at it!
Great job Yana!
Mindy,

I love to decorate for parties, any holiday or kids bdays. I also love to scrapbook. I have albums full for my family and I do them to hang on the walls instead of ordinary picture frames.

I love to cook and write. Recently, I tie dyed with my niece and nephew. It was a blast!
I garden and crochet-just not at the same time. I love to decorate my home and help others with their home. I love theme decorating for holidays and gatherings. I do a tad bit of scrapbooking. I love adding my special touch to commercial cards. I love to do creative packaging for gifts.
I am fulfilled when I create!
Most of my creative talents were in the hair industry, being a stylist for 25 years. After two shoulder surgeries I decided to listed to my body telling me to stop.
Now I have jumped into embroidery and monogramming. I love to make one of a kind gift items and do “in the hoop” projects. I have been having so much fun, I’ve decided to sell some of them items on Etsy.
