Domestic Violence isn’t taken serious enough in this country. Most cases they get a slap on the wrist over and or. All I hear over and over is how he has rights yet what about our rights? Our right to feel safe and secure? Our right to a happy life? Our right to not be harrassed time and time again by this person?

I think domestic violence offenders such have to register just like sex offenders do. Whether they are male or female. Whether it’s a first offense or fifth. The moment a doctor report goes out or a police report goes out or a call to 911 goes out these people should be finger printed photo id and have to register.

My ex created a facebook page in our daughter’s name. He has her name on the page. Her photo on the page and she has priors against him. They do not communicate. And he has told her to her face he wants nothing to do with her. Facebook was notified, the police, the lawyer and the page still is there. He has 101 connections and the content can only be seen by those on the page God only knows what’s in there. Whether he is using it for illegal reasons or using it to endanger her we don’t know yet.

All I know is I want this to stop! I want myself and my children safe.
