I was going thru my settings and I have a check mark by whenever a friend shouts out. I’m not aware of any shouting going on. What does this mean?

        • When someone gets a moment to be “on air” with a radio station or television station they always take a moment to “shout out” to their best friends or momma or daddy or the list goes on including people you miss.

(I’m at the inauguration and I get a chance to “shout out” to my FAB40 crew)

        • Vikki, I am not sure, if this is the same option as I have on another site, but that “shout out” was used when someone sent a msg to another and it was visible for all to see, unlike the personal msg in our inbox.  I don’t know, I am guessing, but the other site has a section at the top of the page that you could actually send your friend a shout out.  I don’t see that here

        • I’ve wondered the same thing, Vikki. I’ve seen the “shout out” functionality at other sites, but don’t think it’s implemented here. Or at least not yet. They are constantly working to improve/refine the site.
