        • Cris, it is possible! Trust and believe and day by day it will come to pass. One day you will suddenly realize that it has happened and you weren’t even noticing!!happy

        • Cris, this is a great idea! ;oD  Take it one day at a time, drink lots of water and absolutely no smoking in your house, garage or car, is a good rule. Smoking outside in winter doesn’t make it pleasant and makes you very conscious of it not being good for you. ;oD  Here to support you!

          Hugs,
          Cathie

@cathie, I have never smoked in my house, car or hotel rooms. My kids and others either in my car or coming over but I have a pato off my bedroom that is half inclsed and a large space heater and thats where I smoke.
          Damn ....sorry darn....ok, start over.
Trouble is thats my go to habit for stress or relaxing.

        • Cris, I’m weaning off of them and proud I’ve recently elininated 1-3 cigs from my daily count and down to 6 or less now. I feel ill if I don’t smoke at all, so that’s why I’m doing the weaning off of them. My go to habit for stress or relaxing or when I’m working on a design
          solution.  ;oP

        • Cris.....I know you can do it.  Get your mindset right....PRAY ABOUT IT...AND I WILL TOO....and find something else to replace the smoking with....especially when you are stressed...

I can’t tell you anymore because I’ve never smoked...so I don’t know what you are feeling...

        • When the price of cigarettes went up beyond $10, I started rationing mine; smoking only 3 during the day and 4 or 5 a night so I could stretch a pack to 3 days when I’m at work. Problem is when I’m home on the weekends, I easily run through 1/2 a pack a day and if it’s a long weekend, I am back up to a pack a day. It’s a habit and it is physically as well as mentally addictive; breakfast has been coffee and a cigarette for 32 years, I can eat lunch without having a cig after, but it’s a must after dinner. I don’t trust the pills, electronic cigarettes, have tried the gum (nasty) and the patches (fell off during the summer). If they raise the price again, I think I’ll do the cold turkey again. Lasted 2 years then and something stressed me out bad enough for me to pick up that habit again. I’m willing to try hypnosis when I’m ready to quit.
