For accountability - I wanted everyone to know I am starting a master cleanse tomorrow. It is a 10 day fast - with the same lemon tea mixture that I am always recommending as a first morning cleanse. This is just more intense. They say the first three days are the worst.
It is time for me to walk the walk - I have suggested this to several friends but because of pregnancies and nursing I have never done it myself.

I’ll even forego my Osolean while doing this. I know it will make me feel better... but not before I feel worse. :)
I’ll keep you posted. Will probably journal here.

        • Yes Lucinda - fresh lemon, real maple syrup, and cayenne. I can’t beleive it is day 4 and I am not nor have I been hungry (except at the end of the first day.)
Jen, Thanks. I will probably have to add in some fruits tomorrow to prepare my stomach for our lunch out on Saturday. I’ll just eat a salad. I have wanted to do it for a long time. Even with all my supplements and healthy eating I have had some issues start to resurface in the past few months. SO, I thought a detox in a major way was in order. I am feeling great; not lacking in energy (that was day 2 & part of day 3). I am NOT doing this for weight loss, and don’t recommend it for such. It is more for a total body cleanse. I did skip the salt flush. I just didn’t think I could get it down. I am using Senna tea which is supposed to help ‘move things through.’ Oddly, I have not had the results I expected from reading other’s experiences. Maybe it is a testimony to a healthy lifestyle? Or maybe, I am just not far enough into the cleanse. I am going to consult my friend who has been a mentor to me regarding being more healthy. In fact, I ‘stole’ Lean for Life from her. She coined the term - or at least used it when she led me in a similar group many years ago.

        • Hello Happy Momma,
How are you feeling now?  I know a few of my friends started it but was unable to continue.

I do a cleanse using Nature Sunshine products.  It worked well for me.

          Good Luck to you
