  • Steamed artichokes with dipping sauce

      I love artichokes. Usually I stuff them with breadcrumbs and cheese like my mom used to. But, when I’m in a hurry I just steam them and make a dipping sauce. This sauce comes from Walt’s Wharf in Seal Beach, CA

      1/4 cup mayo
      1 1/2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
      1 Tablespoon olive oil
      1 Tablespoon sesame oil
      3/4 Tablespoon honey
      a squirt of lemon or a splash of white wine vinegar
      3/4 Tablespoon Season Salt, the recipe calls for Lawreys

      This recipe is half the original. I only make 2 artichokes at a time for us and the original recipe made too much.
