Recently, I have been checking out the ladies web sites and off-site blogs here at Fab40 and Beyond.  I am amazed that many of the ladies are not utilizing one of the ways to increase your readership and ability gain higher rankings on the search engines....one of the ways is to “Stumble” your way in to readership audience at *Stumble Upon*.

“Stumble Upon” is a social networking site that allows  people to randomly browse the web and make comments on web sites, landing pages, art, photography and much more.  You get to see your competition AND learn a whole lot about what others are doing on the internet.  It is akin to treasure hunting...much that is good out there has already been discovered...but when the “You discovered this site” window pops up...you’ve hit gold...you get to be the first to write a review and the site becomes part of the Stumble system.  Your review is placed on your personal Stumble blog, where your friends, fans and random visitors can come and check out what you like and don’t like. It is a MUST to have in the blogging world, along with all the other ratings tools like : technorati, DIGG and others.

Beware though...Stumbling CAN be addictive...you can find yourself off on the treasure hunt, caught in the beauty of looking and reading all the wonderful blogs and web sites that are filling the internet and....BAM...you realize you haven’t gotten anything done...the day is almost over.

The positive side of Stumble...you do meet some very nice people of all ages, culture and gender, who are willing to promote your work..if they believe it is truly good, new, creative..different. Stumble can be a pass time or a tool to not promote your work, but lift up those you feel have a web site/blog to offer.

Another warning and the only pitfall...since you are also able to browse adult web sites...there is a group of men who troll through members blogs looking for women to have internet relations.  Your blog will tell these guys if you are interested or not...if you don’t want to be hit on...don’t stumble Adult web sites. Stumble has the ability to filter these members and web sites on your settings page.  You are also able to flag members if they comments are always helpful or hurtful, hostile or kind.  If you do flg someone negatively, Stumble will block the user from your blog and the reading your reviews.

This is a GOOD thing all around!

Start Stumbling your web site/blog by downloading the Stumble toolbar today...if I haven’t reviewed you already!
