      Summer Corn

9 ears of corn, cut off the cob
      2 cups water
      2 TBLS butter
      2 TBLS sugar
      1 tsp salt

Bring to a boil, simmer 7-9 minutes, serve or freeze in family serving size containers for future use.  I make this every summer to freeze.  It’s so good with Thanksgiving dinner!

        • I froze 16 pints of corn last night, but I’ve never cooked it before I freeze it.  Just cut off the cob and straight to the freezer.   My family loves that fresh from the field taste.  I just microwave it to cook it for meal.
