My hubby put in a request so today I’m cooking just for him:
Mustard and Turnip greens
Honey Glazed ham, my own special glaze
sweet potatoes
corn bread muffins
potatoe salad
and for dessert J’s Yummy Cupcakes lol.

Of course you start by cleaning and cutting up the greens. In a large stock pot put in your choice of smoked meat I use either turkey or smoked neckbones, about 3 cups of water, add seasoning of your choice, and cut up a large onion let the meat, seasoning, onion cook for about half hour then add the greens, after the greens have settled into the juices add about 1/4th cup of olive oil and let cook until greens are tender, if greens are bitter add about 3 tablespoons of sugar, enjoy.
