    • heartheartheart yesterday, I saw and felt something so beautiful it took my breath away.
I was at the memorial for my best friend and I was to give the eulogy. I had nothing prepared on paper but I thought I knew what I’d say. After all I’d knowen her for all of our lifes.
When I went up to the podium and I truely looked out on the church, I was taken back at how many people were there to say goodbye. The church was completely full and people were standing all through the back and up into the aisle. This was not a small church. Catholic churches are not knowen for being small.
All those life’s she had touched in a warm, loving way or helped. ...the love and loss filled the room. And it was then I knew what to say. I would rejoice in her life and tell of her not the illness. That would not be what defined this day. I took a deep breath and silently asked to let me do her memory the way she lived.radiant and grace.
After her son got up and came and hugged me and told me he could still feel his mom and Thanked me for loving her. He’s eleven.
God’s presence was there that day and I have a feeling he’ll be watching over her child forever.
Her life touched so many. I realized she left her footprints all through my life and I’d truly never be without her. heartbreak
