Good Morning Ladies, and “Happy Saturday” to you. Mannnn it seems like forever since I’ve had a weekend off lol. Even though I’m awake at just about 2am it feels good to know I don’t have to get out of bed in a hurry. Well I will be making the peach cobbler today for our dinner with the Inlaws this evening. What are your plans for today?

I woke up at the usual time we get up, even though I don’t need to today.
Kids got in sometime after nine last night and stayed up late visiting. I don’t want to start doing stuff in the kitchen that will wake them, so I’m sitting at the computer.

It’s very cloudy here. I need to go to the postal office to mail a couple orders, take my son to a piano lesson.

Saturday is almost over but I wanted to comment.
Spent most of today during my usual Saturday errands. Then did a little bit of cleaning when I got home. My hubby has a few friends over for a small birthday party.
Santa on the fire truck came by this afternoon. It was cute to see all the kids running around the neighborhood to see Santa.
Since no one has started a Sunday post.....I’ll add to this one.

We did not go to church this morning....not sure why....just slept in. My hubby isn’t feeling too good so I hung out with him.
We do have our journey team Christmas party tonight so at least I will be there...not sure about him.
We have to take (2) Christmas ornaments to swap. Everybody puts their bagged or wrapped ornament on the floor with their name in the box or bag. We then give everyone a number.
No. 1 goes first and picks a present. Whoevers present they pick is who they pray for extensively for the new year. Of course it’s that Chinese gifting thing...so somebody can get your gift. But when it’s said and done...whoever presents you picked..is who you pray for. It’s fun.
I’m making a chocolate chip pound cake and bringing rolls. We will have a ton of food I’m sure.
I needed to finish some shopping this weekend but I just didn’t feel like going out. I’ll get it done this week...nothing like waiting until the last minute.
But this morning I did get registered for all my races (running) that I KNOW I’m going to participate in.
