  • That Pesky Underarm Flab

      You thought it would never happen to you, but it did. You’ve put on a few pounds and now you’ve got that ugly, flapping skin underneath your arms. Ugh. Every time you lift your arm to wave hi to someone the skin under your arm flaps. Every time you reach to pick up something the skin under your arm wiggles. It’s embarrassing.

      No one plans to have flabby arms, it just happens sometimes - especially to women. You see, we tend to gain weight in our thighs, hips and yes, our arms. Fat just settles in and makes itself at home in those areas.

      Lateral Raises

      You’ll need 5-pound dumbbell weights for this exercise. Stand with your feet apart and shoulders slightly hunched. Hold a weight in each hand with your arms down by your side. Slightly bend your elbows and raise the weights out to your sides until both arms are parallel to the floor. Slowly lower your arms back to the original position. Do this 10 times.

      The above exercises will do a nice job of toning your arm muscles. BUT, you cannot just stop there and expect your flabby arms to disappear. You see, your newly toned arms will be hidden from sight by all that fat that surrounds them. Arm exercises alone won’t get rid of this fat.

      You need to make a serious commitment to getting rid most of the excess fat that’s being stored right now in your body - including your arms. This means you’ll need to follow a proper diet and exercise program that will target fat so that it melts away, and all that’s left to see is your beautifully toned arms and body.
