True friends make time when they don’t have
Any.
They listen as much as they talk. They know how
To share a good laugh, and a good cry.
Theyre there for the ups and the downs, and they
Value connection more than perfection.
True friends are life’s gold.
And they shine in your life. True friends stand beside
You but let you know your wrong without judgement.
This is what we are blessed to have in our lifes. And its
Not the quanity its the quality of these friends. If I have
Only a few true friends in my life im blessed and if I am
Counted as someones true friend then Ive served my
Purpose and left footprints for me to be proud of.
Amen.
It looks to me like you have it ALL and already know it.
Youre already Blessed and Im so glad that you realize that.
I can say I have a lot of “friends” so to speak - I call them butterfly friends, they flutter by we come and go but never slow down to really know one another, but the REAL friends that i have I can count on a hand or two max because being the TRUEST friend of all to someone is giving of oneself without it being about THEM and listening , and taking the time to give of oneself without anticipation of what it will bring back to the giver. Easily put but so difficult to do for so many sadly.
Because in all honesty, what people dont always “get“, is the simple fact that you receive so very much more than you could possibly give when you dont expect something back and selflessly give of YOURSELF WHOLEHEARTIDLY just because you CARE.
