Tonight we‘re having the same thing we had last night. My husband, Joe loves to cook and is very good at it. He went crazy in the kitchen yesterday and made pork chow mein, sweet and sour pork and home made won ton. It was delicious! But with only two of us even big appetites couldn’t finish all that food. so, we dive back into it this evening.

        • I am jealous! To have a cooking husband..... sigh
He is our grillmaster though, so I will be thankful for that. I gave it up after I singed my bangs off years ago. LOL

          That looks so yummy too!

        • Oh my God, Dee Dee, you didn’t singe your bangs, did you? That’s too funny. And, believe me there was enough food on that table for a family of 6 complete with teenagers.

Grill master, yes. Joe likes to use his grill. I still have to teach that man to let the steaks rest before cutting into them, though. He’s just too eager to eat half the time.

        • Um, completely off (shrugging sheepishly) Yeah, that was me! I was lighting the gas grill and it took me a few seconds - too long - to get the lighter thingie to ignite. It is funny now but it wasn't so funny then. :P
I have never manned the grill since then unless it is to turn the meat after it is already started.

        • Both my husband and I are grill masters. And, we love eating the same thing two nights in a row.
