I am always searching for that magic cure. I admit that I am a sucker by certain claims.
Well my family has a history of type 2 diabetes caused by being overweight. This also leads to heart disease and a bunch of other stuff.
So I am a Prevention follower and they came out with another book. I bought it and am reading it.
It all makes sense and easy enough. I will incorporate into my WW plan.
But it brought up Syndrome X. Have you heard of that? Apparently it happens in women in the peri stages.

If you have heard of it or have had it what have you done to help?

        • I didn’t mention that I am following the 1400 calorie plan which is very similar to my Weight Watcher plan.

        • The Diabetes DTour Diet. I’m not sure if it’s in stores yet since I ordered thru Prevention.com.
It has it broken down pretty easy to follow. I am putting my husband on it. It puts a lot of focus on the fat in the middle which is what I am struggling with. I eat for the most part good, I exercise and other than this week I sleep well. So I am thinking I need to mix it up to help lose that middle.
You can go online to DTour.com and check it out. I’m not sure how far you can go on there without paying but it has lots of support on there along with menus, shopping lists and recipes. Everything to make it easier for you.
