    • So many individuals are very aware of eating nutritious, checking out ingredients and attempting to stay healthy, but have never learned to check the ingredients of products that they use on a daily basis, such as deodorant, toothpaste, hairspray and cosmetics. I try to stay on top of what products are going green and are the most pure.

Here is a list of ingredients to be aware of that are in the list of the dirty dozen chemicals to avoid in cosmetics and beauty products:

      1. Antibacterials
      2. Coal Tar
      3. Diethanolamine (DEA)
      4. 1,4-Dioxane
      5. Formaldehyde
      6. Fragrance
      7. Lead and Mercury
      8. Nanoparticles
      9. Parabens
      10. Petroleum Distillates
      11. P-Phenylenediamine
      12. Hydroquinone
