    • heartheart As you age in life hopefully you grow and change from young women to women then for some reason we go from women to middle aged to elderly. Well I believe there is a step that’s missed before middle aged. I think we go from women to student / teacher before middle aged. When we are in our 40 something years it’s like we are learning about ourselves all over again and we are passing that knowledge on.
Now, I know this could really be said at any point in our life’s, it’s just at this point it’s more noticeable. For some your kids are older, your career is strong, house bought, life sorted and all the things you were before have changed. So you start to learn about yourself again and this knowledge shapes middle age. All the teachings you once knew to pass on have changed as well because your learning again, also preparation for middle age. To me middle age is around your sixties. I know that at 40 something I’m on a new journey and it’s preparing me for what I’ll teach God willing when I’m middle aged.

        • Amen Cris, I totally agree with you, I just turned 50 in June and I am learning about me all over again and all the things I have implanted into my adult daughters I now sit back and see who they have blossomed into beautiful strong independent women and it takes me abck to that time period when I was there at their age, but i truly thank God for my journey and I take nothing for it, I am a blessed and highly favored of God woman with many things to be thankful and grateful for. i look forwardsto seeing what my future holds for me as I enbark on this journey called life trying to get to that middle age stage. happyheart
