I wonder how many people in this group attend a spirit filled church, have many casual acquaintances as friends but truly havent made any deep meaningful know the ones were you can trust with your heart and will hold you accountable for your actions but love you even if you cross the line from time to time? I have been going to the same church for several years and have to work very hard to keep it real with friends. Joyce Meyers talks about a “christian-ese” mentality. She often says she isnt impressed with the ‘church face’ and would much rather see their witness in everyday life. To me I feel like many of the faces at church are not the same ones away from the pretty white chapel. This is the very reason I have stayed away from organized church for many years..‘they’ always seemed so judgemental and stuffy. Then one day the Lord whispered in my heart that Satan was using this mindset to keep me from my church family...and that no one is perfect and if I didnt like the way things were then get in consistent...bridal your God and they will know you by your fruit and like will attract like. 7 years later I can see some change in this area and have made some break throughs with a couple gals but MAN...its slooooow in coming. It just seems a whole lot easier to make christian girl friends outside of church...
