        • “Public health experts around the world have raised the alarm about exploding rates of obesity and many are promoting efforts that increase physical activity and encourage access to affordable, healthy food.”

I especially like this sentence.  It amazes me that for years the “industry” has been pushing fast food, TV video games, increase in computer technology (sitting all day at the computer) and NOW they have decided it is causing detriment to thousands of people...Oh boy, this should never have been allowed to happen..people need to exercise, eat well and get a proper amount of sleep in order to function properly...my mom told me that 40 years ago.

          What do you think, Annie?

        • Hi Ladies,

I saw the reason some gave for being on a fast food diet instead of cooking that said it was more affordable. I don’t see that as being a truth for me. I’d be in deep debt trying to live on fast foods! I can’t always afford fresh veggies, but frozen cooked right is a lot healthier choice than a side of fries, which is a carbohydrate and doesn’t count as a green veggie.
