      The EX Daily Word
      The Word of God

2Cor. 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in
craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation
of the truth commending ourselves to every man?s conscience in the sight of
God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

The bible is the only true word of God. You must read it and get an
      understanding.
Some preachers like to confuse you by making the bible seem too hard
to understand, so you will always need them to decipher it for you. Don’t get me
      wrong,
there is nothing wrong with using a concordance or studying the original
text in greek or hebrew for clarity or amplification of what is written. But
when a preacher takes the word and tells you that the original text did not
mean what it says, beware! There are many preachers that will use the greek
or hebrew words to change the text into something that is contrary to what
you are reading. The devil is attacking the written word and using false
prophets to modify the text so you cannot take it for what it says. Do
not be fooled into thinking that there is some kind of hidden meaning to the
gospel that is written in the bible. It’s only hidden to those that are lost.
But if you are of Christ, you can read it for what it says and it will speak
to you because it is Christ. But the bottom line is, you must study it!

The bible is the word of God and it is God and you must have it to know God.
So do not fall for the lie that the bible is too hard to understand or that
the bible should not be taken for it’s face value. The bible is not hidden from
us. I’m tired of hearing preachers dig deep into the text just to make a
good, entertaining sermon. Preachers hear me! You create an ignorant
atmosphere when you do that because people become afraid that their
understanding of the scriptures will not suffice. Yes, we should be taught
by preachers, but we should not be taunted! The bible speaks on it’s own.
You can read it, learn from it, and rightly divide it with God’s help.
But you have to read it in context, line upon line, precept upon precept.
Don’t be afraid to get a good understanding of it. If any man lacks wisdom,
the word says to ask God, and he give it freely. How does he give it?
      Through his word!
