Ok I’m here at home and have been enjoying my music all day at a normal sound level as to respect my neighbors below me as well as next door to me. Now in order for me to say a normal level I went outside my walls, down stairs to see if the sound was too loud and it is NOT!!! Why in the hell is my neighbor below me playing his music extremely loud so loud the walls and the floor is shaking? I mean come on now it is vibrating through my walls, I can still enjoy my music without turning my sound up but of course I can hear his loud bass playing music, I mean come on people are soooooo ignorant and the real thing that is a trip is that we hardly ever play our music because of our work schedules so we‘re hardly home enough to do so and when we are we‘re sleeping because of the hours we work. I mean this is way out of the normal level for an apartment and for this time of day.

        • LOL@ U MzT I opt to ignore them thats the best medicine see when you react to ignorance it fuels them even more. If I don’t react they’ll feel silly and see that what they are doing is not getting to me (even though it is lol) but they don’t know it. So I’m still enjoying my glass of wine, my music and my Fab40 friends lol.

        • Neicy,

          Enjoy your wine!

When I lived in a condo, I had neighbors that put out windchimes. Evidently, it irritated all of my other neighbors and they all got windchimes and turned it into a windchime war. Soon after, the condo association banning the use of windchimes. It was actually kind of funny.

Have a good rest of the night.

          Mary

          Thank goodness I’m moving

        • I have no tolerance or inconsiderate and disrespectful neighbors! My annoying and very noisy upstairs neighbor moved out yesterday. Hallelujah!! She allowed her 7 yr old son to rollerskate across the hardwood floors...he also ran and jumped off the furniture constantly...and played loud music. She moved out out yesterday...at midnight...so of course I couldn’t go to sleep until she was finished in the wee hours of the morning. Good riddance! Now wondering what the next tenants will be like...(sigh).

        • Loud music is a no-no in my coop complex, and I remember my mother once telling someone off about their music and I use the same words: “How dare you impose your taste of music onto me?” It shames people into lowering the volume 75% of the time. Now if only I can get my neighbor with those loud a$$ kids to stop using my wall to play ball on.

        • If I lived in an apartment and I did when I first got married....I would first go to them and ask politely if they would turn it down especially the bass. If they didn’t, then I would ask one more time...if they still did not..then let your apt. manager know.  If they do not do anything...then call the police.  We have a noise ordinance in the city I live in.....it’s a hefty fine too.

        • That is one reason why I hated living in an apartment.  It was fine for others to act like they didnt care what they did but if I even thought of playing my music loud or even if my daughter and her friends got a bit loud I had the police at my door.
