Here’s part of my shopping totals for last week, I’ll show the highlights and how I did them.
Supermarket:
I made myself a pot of coffee, and went online to my local supermarkets website, and looked over their BOGO free sales, then matched them up with my coupons. Total time: 1 hour
I went to two supermarkets and Walgreens.
Supermarket one:
Eight O‘clock coffee BOGO @ 4.99
Bought 6 bags using six $1 off coupons
Total spent: $9
Time in store :5 minutes
Supermarket two:
Milk
Bread (3)
Tuna (6)
4 lbs ground beef
toilet paper (1)
mentos gum (8)
yoplait kids pack yogurt (4)
progresso black beans (6)
Mueller pasta (10)
Betty Crocker Brownie Mix (12)
Classico spagetti sauce (4)
Hunts canned tomatos (4)
Pop tarts (6)
Green Giant Vegetables frozen (12)
Green Giant canned vegetables (8)
Total Before coupons 92.67
After coupons 8.82
Time in store: 40 minutes
Walgreens:
Colgate toothpaste (2)
Reynolds wrap aluminum foil (2)
Revlon Makeup (2)
Milk 1 gallon
Total before coupons 23.54
After coupons 1.79
Everything was free but the milk,and my coupons were $1 more than the items, so it took an extra dollar off the milk price
Time in store: 15 minutes
I just wish I could get myself organized enough to do this. I am trying though!!
OK...I’m stuck @ store #1. Do I understand....bought 6, got 12. Used 6 $1 off coupons on 6 bags @ $4.99...so 6X4 = $24. How did you spend $9?

It does take awhile to get used to. And you have to develop it in a way that works for you, how you shop, and how you manage your time
