      Lighter colors help makes lips look fuller
      Darker colors cause lips to appear smaller
      Bright,warm colors tend to make lips look more youthful

        • Before I never used to pay attention to shades and the effects each kind gives, but youre very right, some darker shades make my lips look thin and now im veering toward lighter shades and glosses.

        • dont pick a shade that makes u look all mouth and nothing else, wear a shade that compliments your outfit, because my skin is dark i find darker shades more flattering, i rarely wear gloss and when i do it is only a touch, too much gloss makes me look like a try-hard.  at times i wear two shades.  lighter for the top and darker for the bottom
