Tips n Tricks to Fab40

Creating a playlist.

Go to playlist.com, create an account, build your music list, copy the embed code they give you. Go to your profile on here and click edit, paste your list in any of the fields on your profile, save and voila'

You can control how many emails you receive from Fab40 thru your settings. You also can choose not to receive updates or subscribe to a thread by unclicking the box by your comment before you comment.

If you read someone’s blog and you really have no comment just leave a so they know you dropped by.

How do you add a photo album to your page?

Ok Frannie,
Go to your settings/account and there should be something that says start a new album, title it and post your pics and they will show up on your profile.
I think tho you only get so many if you are not a premium member.
Let me know...

Does anyone have any tips n tricks or questions?

Don’t post anything on here you don’t want found on the WWW. If your name is googled your blogs on here will show up. There may be instances when you don’t want this to happen. So you can LOCK it and put it on a password. If you want others to see it then you can PM them the link along with the pass.
You also can join or creat a private group but you must be a premium member to do this.

 This is a really great idea, and thank you to UKGirl for sending me the link.

Make sure you enter the contest/drawing from the front page.  It changes once every 2 weeks or so.

One more...if we add a video from youtube ,does it go to our profile?

Hi Makingsmiles...

I don’t think we are able to pimp our page as of yet.... As for the cute glittery things left in comments you will need to upload them (if you look in the comment section there is an upload image box, click on that)and save to your fab40 library. I believe this is a security feature on here that prevents shenanigans from happening.
Once you upload am image into your library then you can leave your comment, go to add image, select size (I was told med was best) and it will embed the code. You won’t see the image until you hit the comment button.
