        • Well girls I didn’t do so well last week. frown  I weighed in a pound heavier on Monday.  

          It was very depressing ..... but instead of giving up I’ve decided to fight back. After my weigh-in last night (and after my pity party) I put together a protein shake for breakfast this morning then made a tuna salad to bring to work for lunch. AND——this morning, I hopped on the ‘ole (dusty) treadmill at 7 a.m. and walked a 20-minute mile!  

          I was sooo hoping those pounds would melt off with the mere omission of burgers and fries from my diet. Guess it doesn’t happen that way @ “40 something“.  

          What are your thoughts?? Does “some” exercise seem to help you or do you have to run a weekly marathon to see results?

        • I think that’s a good idea Annie!  My goal is to walk at least 20 minutes 3 X this week.  I’m not a morning person so this is a real challenge for me—- just to get out of that bed 30 minutes earlier!  Dust off that treadmill and get goin‘!
