Has anyone here tried the Beachbody.com exercise dvd’s?  They are so much fun and they really work.  You seriously start seeing results in days.  If you watch your portion control and follow a modest diet and add Turbo Jam, not only will you see the inches melting off, but you’ll lose the inches while having fun.  Chalene is the instructor and she is hilarious.  The key is to change it up. If you buy the package it gives you a workout schedule and diet to follow.  You will lose a lot of weight if you follow the plan to a T, but even if you just do it a few days a week, you’ll see the weight fall off-it’ll just take a little longer.  Just take before and after pictures each month and watch yourself literally melt away.  I did this plan and I loved it.  The plan calls for a modest diet (provided) and to “just push play” 6 days a week.  The six days is too much for me, but I usually fit in 4-5 days a week and it still workded.  They have a 20 minute Turbo Jam video and a 30 minute Ab Jam video that I use alot, because sometimes it’s just too hard to fit in a 50 minute video every day.  I love it.  Let me know if any of you have tried the Beachbody videos, and did they work for you?

        • That sounds like something I could try to help me get back into shape without causing me too much pain.  I have been sitting on my butt for about 3 weeks and my muscles have taken a vacation.  My hubby (bless him) purchased PX90 or PT90.  I’m not sure which one is right.  What the heck is that?  He say’s in 90 days I’ll be able to run a marathon.  Ladies, I’ll just be happy to make it through a full 8 hours of work without napping or complaining.

        • I opened up the package and looked at the first few minutes of the into CD.  It looks legit.  But, I don’t know.  I’m going to try it the last week of October right before I start back to work.  Right now I’m taking it one day at a time.  I also noted that the Turbo Jam is made by the same group as the team that backs PX90 which is Beach Body.

        • I can’t seem to find time to do anything.  After 40 hrs of work plus 5-10 hrs in class for my M.A. and of course, time with my family - even 30 minutes (NO...I’m not getting up at 5:30am!) is a challenge.  A challenge I am not meeting at this time.

I used to do a 2hr work out 5 days a week and was super fit...now...no so much!  happy

        • I just went to read about the dvds..and I was directed to another website that seems to be a watchdog for weight loss methods, items...products...etc.  Some comsumers were saying that Beach Body made unauthorized withdrawals from their accounts.  But there were some postive comments as well.  Is there a store you can purchase these from or is it strictly mail order?  I’m funny about ordering stuff like that since I deal with this very type of fraud on a daily  basis.

        • I have an entire collection of all the Beachbody dvd’s.  I started with Power 90, to Turbo Jam, workouts with Shaun T, Slim in 6, and just recently Yoga Booty ballet.  One thing I learned is: you can have all the exercise dvd’s out there, it’s “pushing play” and doing them that’s the hard part!

        • I have such trouble with exercise videos!  I don’t know if my coordination is just off or what??  I still think the best way to stay committed to working out is to keep it simple-walk whenever I can and watch what I eat.  I also found these great slimming leggings by fitandsharp.com. I put them on, go to work(they are so comfortable!)and run all my errands. They tone and firm up my skin and the best part is that after only about three weeks, I already saw a difference in my “problem areas.”  Working out is great when you have the time, but I find that these leggings are great when you‘re having one of those weeks when there just aren’t enough hours in the day.  You should definitely check them out. Hope this helps!
