> enough it is there. I shall be using it from now on.*
Wow! Thanks, Neicy. I’m going to do that frm now on, too. In fact, I may just start paying cash.
Yes Choco cash is better seeing that they now tack on extra fees for using the card at the pump anyhow. I always use cash.
Wow, I will hit clear from now on too, thanks !
I didn’t know that! Thanks for the info.!
Seems this is an internet 'wives tales.' Check [Link Removed] when you hear something you think "Can that be true?"...often it is not.
Trudy, I found what you are talking about on snopes. “Clear Loss” is the title.
This particular story may not be true. But it never hurts to be careful!
I agree. It’s better to be safe than sorry. You just never know anymore.
Thanks for the infor true or not it is a pratice I will be starting, it will not hurt me just save me some money, pain, and stress which I donot need.
Yes Trudy this is one of those false Urban Legends. I get a lot of these in my email by well meaning folks, and I never forward them unless I check Snopes first. Since the majority is false, I respond to the sender with the words “BS” in huge red letters and the Snopes link so s/he can forward it to those s/he sent it originally to. I must admit, since I’ve been shooting down some that have been around for ages, I get less of them in the mail. Most machines reset as soon as your card is processed and return to the credit or debit screen. Use the usually http & www before typing in this link:
Here’s a true one that I actually forwarded to my friends. Been around for 8 years but it’s something to think about if you worry about identity theft:
It may be false, but it is a good idea to be extra careful, especially with your debit cards!
We never use them at gas stations.
Thanks for the info!
I feel overwhelmed with the amount of things I really do need to be concerned about that being able to not think about something is a HUGE relief for me.
Less complications in my life please!!
