        • Ok I read this one. I will have to step it up alot to get the recomended water intake. I am going to start marking it in my daytimer that I use for everything work and the house. It is my lifeline.

No diet drinks I have accomplished. Still getting headaches from the withdrawls. I don’t drink coffee but still drink  sweet tea. I have cut back on that alot. I can still improve...

        • Darla,
You are doing GREAT! Baby steps are the best kind to take. For me, the best way to get my water in is to premeasure it in a water bottle (or determine how many water bottles per day.) My Wellness Water Bottle has a straw, and that helps too. Some people keep a dixie cup on the kitchen sink and down a cup full every time they walk by. Others won’t drink their tea or juice or whatever until they have first consumed an equal amount of water. Whatever works!
The headaches will stay with you until you cleanse the toxins out (or at least mine did.) And even then, it took 2 or 3 months to completely get rid of them. They became less frequent, and less severe, but it still took awhile!

        • It’s never good to waste our hard earned calories on a soft drink!

        • Good for you nailgirl!
It isn’t just the calories, it is a recipe for diabetes.
Look at the labels and quit buying anything with high fructose corn syrup. You’ll save tons!
When I suggest supplements, people usually use money as the excuse to not pursue health. I doubt there are many people who don’t spend the same amount on ‘fluff’ at the grocery store.

        • Talking about water.  What is a good water?  Bottled?  Water filtration system?  Reverse Osmosis?  Please dwell and let me know.  I need water.

        • CD, purified water is good, but not distilled (unless you are doing a fast/cleanse). Reverse Osmosis is good. There are several very good filtration systems out there. Wellness Water produces a water so pure that bacteria won’t grow in it. I have several of their water bottles. The water even tastes different - sort of sweet. City water is not good for you - avoid chorinated and fluorinated water. Avoid flavored waters because they have artificial sweeteners and colors in them.
Sorry I missed your post. We’ve had company for over a week.
