I have to admit it, I am a weight watchers drop out. I have tried other things and they have worked for a while... but now I’m back. I have agreed to go with a friend to weight watchers on Friday and start again.

      Anyone else rejoining Weight Watchers??

        • I’m going to get back on it on Friday as well.  I’m not going to the meetings as of yet because it’s just difficult for to get over to where they are in my area.  So I’m going to try to wing it on my own and see where it takes me.  I checked out their website and they have new program too.  It’s called:

          The New Momentum Program

Check out the website: [Link Removed]

        • No. 1 resolution of every year.

I’m not doing WW, I have a diet and exercise plan and as little extra motivation. My company is having a contest first price $ 1,000.00

          Count me in.

        • My problem is....when I say I’m going to go on a diet. I want to eat every thing in sight. So, I kind of have to do things a little different.
I have fallen off the wagon as of late and intend to jump back on full force.
As long as I feed my diabetes correctly and do my excercises...walk, work out. I tend to do just fine.
My thing is WILLPOWER!!!! I have got to find a way to fire me up!
Vikki, I wish that we were closer so we could push each other even when we don’t want to be pushed. LOL
I think I have even convinced myself to go for my walk right now! Even in the rain.

        • Find your why.

I’m better about caring for others than caring for myself.
The only times I been successful on my diets is when I found someone that need it more than me so I felt I have to help her. It doesn’t have to be that she/he has more to lose than you. I did it with my mother in law and she had less to loose than me, but she is a baby and loves the attention. So I full myself about helping her and I end up helping me.
          Does it make sense?

        • I’ve been working Weight Watchers for 6 weeks (well, 5 weeks and took the week of Christmas off...for obvious reasons) and have lost 15 pounds so far.  About 3 years ago, i worked the WW program and lost 65 pounds.  I love how it taught me to eat “mathmatically“.  It just makes sense to me!

I have never attended a WW meeting...i am a member online.  I like the flexibility and having the tools right at my fingertips.  $8/week to attend a meeting vs $14.95/month.

I’m right back at it beginning again tomorrow.  We purchased a boat in late summer and i’m hoping that i’m not a tubby tuba on it this coming summer!  LOL

Good luck to all you ladies.

        • Just thought I'd add too that we will be doing weekly encouragement calls (will post more on the Lean for Life group.) These are for anyone who wants to join us - not just folks who are doing the Osolean Challenge. Our grand prize was worth about $2k, but I didn't compete although I guess I should have. I was doing it, am doing it, for me.
