        • I used to sell Creative Memories.  So, I can’t say which technique is my favorite since I like them all.  What are yours?

        • I recently started loving rub-on letters. They look great, take little effort and you can place exactly where you want on the page!

        • Lord...I forgot I posted this question...please forgive me.
I like Creative Memories albums...little pricey but they are well made and nice.

I haven’t tried the embossing, but I can see it’s coming.
I like the clear stamps.....and I like inking the pages....etc.

I’ve been getting some lessons in different things on You Tube.  There is a girl on YouTube named Marion that makes some really cute mini albums.  You should check her out.

I’m working on (3) albums for my sisters of their grandchildren.  They are Christmas gifts to them.  I still have lots of pics to scrapbook.

It’s fun...and very relaxing to me.  I can get caught up in it for hours and hours.

I’ll post some of my pages on here one day.....

        • Hi Mary - I see you‘re online now as well - I’m new around here so jsut seeing some of the posts for the first time so if my comments seem random it’s because I didn’t start following until just now, LOL.
I’ve been scrapbooking for about 7 years now and I try to resist new trends/techniques because I think it will mean I’ll be buying a bunch of new gear - then I started taking a few classes and got introduced to inks and tearing paper, and fibers, and on and on.
I love using ribbon, love using chalks and inks, love my Cropadile to set grommets.  Wanted like mad to scrapbook this weekend but wore myself out doing other and could positively go to bed right now!

        • I just got a Cricut (used but like new for $70) and I am in love with this little bugger.  It’s the original, not the Expression - but it suits me just fine.  This same machine is on sale at Jo-Ann’s this weekend for $99 by the way...
I love to use ink on the edges of papers or pic that have a white core...I also have used the ink to subtly change the color of something that wasn’t quite the right shade for the rest of my page.  I have purchased stamps - I actually bought a Stampin’ Up cardmaking kit with all of the necessary equipment - to make Christmas cards - but I haven’t started them.  I SUCK at stamping - so I think I will take the advice of some here and get on YouTube and watch a few stampers doing their thing and maybe get some help!

        • Hello everyone!!!!!!!
I just found this group and I am hoping to see a little more activity here. I am getting re-started in the craft and want to learn more about stamping and embellishing. Would love to connect with all the members here.

        • Hi Angel...

I haven’t been scrapbooking for a while due to some renovations at my house and some other things.  Hopefully  I’ll get back to it this summer!

        • How about Flower Soft?
Has anyone played with this stuff yet. It is my new fav!
You can make flower bouquets, glue it on top of a stamped image and so much more. I love anything floral and this stuff is very neat.
I scrapbook, make cards, ATC’s and altered art.
          Love Making Pretty Things!!!!!

        • Angela...yes....we gutted a bathroom this fall and had some other things going on....new roof...etc...it was a challenge to say the least.

I have some outdoor projects I have to work on this spring and when I’m finished with those I plan on getting back to my scrapbooking.  I am soooo way behind.  I’ve been working on books for my older sisters who all have grandchildren.  Since the last time I worked...we have had three more babies born. I need about 3 more of ME!
