Right now I am working on a multi-colored gray afghan that had been given to me and needed repair. I originally started to work on the spots that needed fixing and discovered that it needed more then that would do...
So I took it apart to the very last stitch and I am starting over once I get enough of it done to photograph I will post it for you to see...

        • I’ve been doing potholders out of heavy cotton yarn all summer.  Finally got finished with the last of that yarn.  Now I’m working on a scarf in my kid’s school colors.  Next fall I’ll have something warm to wear to football games, since I own nothing else in their school colors.  Ugh! Who wants to wear orange!

        • I’m still working on my story for National Novel Writing Month, which is 50,000 words in 30 days. 9 Days left and I’ve got about 18,000 words to finish to win my 4th year in a row. It’s harder this year because I refuse to let my writing take over my life like it has for the past 3 years that I’ve won NaNo.

I hope to come back to this question soon with a great answer. But, I haven’t created anything recently and I need to do so I have a big craft/art show on the 4th of December. I’ll sell Scentsy there too but I need some special items to put on my table!

          Thanks for the question!!

        • I am working on a blanket for my sisters baby due in May! It is a cable stitch and very heavy and nice for the cold Wyoming winters but this particular stitch gains you half a single crochet in forward progress each row so holy cow it is taking a long time!

        • Hello crochet‘ers.  Was happy to see a group that loves Yarn!!  It is so amazing to me that we take a ball of beautiful colored yarn and a hook and make beautiful projects for our loved ones and sometimes ourselves.

I have 3 projects going, just cause I get so excited that I want to make so many things!!

My biggest is a huge, continuouse, granny square of lodge colors, greens, browns, and cream for accent.  It is going on my king bed as a comforter cover.  I have never found a cover that I just loved for the price they are!

My others are scarves..one with flowers croched at the bottoms (avocado scarf and cream flowers)...my second is a grany square scarf (purlpe, white, green).

will post pics when I figure how to and when they are done.

        • @ Annie - If I waited until I had time or things slowed down I would never do it.  For me it is relaxing and helps to calm me so I use it as my ‘me time‘.  That is why I often do small projects that can be done in less than a few hours.  That way I feel accomplished but don’t have to worry about when I will have time to pick it up again...happy

        • I’m working on a purple single crochet special occasion purse.  After I embellish it with “pretties,” I’ll be done. Intend to make more as gifts!

Next crochet project: harvest bowl with leaf to hold apples, mini pumpkins or a variety of fruit

An act of kindness is a gift given
