Having tight pores is essential in protecting your face from dirt getting trapped causing breakouts, swelling and uneven skin tone. Sometimes, washing your face with lukewarm water and rinsing with cool water is not enough to close pores. There are various skin care creams that help with pore reduction; however, some people prefer a more natural approach to solving skin issues.

To tighten your pores, take a beaten egg white and apply to clean skin, as you would apply a facial mask. Be careful not to get egg white in your eyes or mouth. Let the mask dry. This should take approximately 10 minutes for it to fully dry. Rinse face with lukewarm water then cool water. Let your face air dry. Pores should be tight and appear smaller. By practicing this treatment once a week, your skin should have fewer breakouts, and overall skin tone should be more even. This is great for teens if they have acne. Inflammation and redness can be reduced with the egg white mask.

This great home remedy is good for a quick fix. It will not have long lasting results. Dermatologist studies show that it is better to eat eggs. Egg yolks have Vitamin B and biotin, which over time has long-lasting beneficial effects.
