        • It’s drizzling and damp outside, not as bad as yesterday but enough for me to want to slip back under the covers and catch a few more ZZZs. However, I am still in the midst of unpacking (have been for 7 months), so I force myself to try and purge more and more stuff on the weekends being too tired during the weekdays to even look at the boxes and bags piled up in my living room.

        • Saturday for me is doing whatever I want, when I want. I do my housework during the week so that my weekends are all mine.

Today I am determined to figure out my new blackberry and do my nails..I also begin a volunteer position at my church today so I am super hypedestatic

        • Well ladies, don’t you just love it. Everyone sounds totally satisfied with Saturday living. Nothing like volunteering it always makes a difference to someone somewhere somehow. Quality time with your spouse is priceless. A living room full of boxes is a room well lived in.tongue out

I just got back in from my Saturday ritual, of shopping at the church garage sale awesome bargains I always find.

        • 47ntired.... if I could sit down in there I would agree, however the only furniture in there now is a folding chair in front of the boxes I have recently popped open. If I ever clear it I can actually buy a sofa! At least the tv’s hooked up, it’s 25 years old so who knows how long it’s going to last before it slips into permanent darkness.... I agree about the volunteering. I have my first orientation with the organization New York Cares in a couple of weeks & looking forward to it.

Fraz764... I am really tempted to buy a crackberry ... uh ... a Blackberry. (The reason I call it a crackberry is because so many people with them are so lost without them, they‘re like addicts!) I bought a top of the line Nokia phone about 4 years ago and it’s starting to act up. I want to be able to surf the ‘net while at work since it’s a no no to do it on the machines we work with unless on lunch. Only thing I can do with this phone is read the news and take & send photos. Let me know if it was worth the frustration of figuring it all out...

        • Uh-oh Fraz,

A touch screen? Yikes! I will probably scratch that up right away. Going to have to check out the models and find one that will work with my talons.... Several of the women I work with are trying to convince me to get one so I can keep track of my book sales on my publisher’s web site. It’s either a Blackberry or one of those little NetBooks. Hmmm, decisions, decisions! LOL
