        • Got the Prius last year, switched to compact fluorescent bulbs, reusable grocery bags, and best of all - I now look younger with a green product for facial skin nutrition that doesn’t have chemicals to infiltrate your body.  Love it!

        • my morning talk show program was commenting on the hybrids and how they dont really save money... I say BS because I used to spend 400 dollars a month in gas commuting to work, now with my prius it is 100 dollars a month. The savings paid my car payment.  So, yes it was a good thing to trade in my Infinity (used premium unleaded)for a Prius.  Plus, I paid the loan off so now it really is a great savings.  GO FOR IT GIRLS if you can...

        • I just do a little greener at a time, for many reasons. I garden, to replace some nature as when I moved to my home, there was no nature left in my yard. I think everyone has a responsibilty to plant things in their surroundings—even a houseplant contributes to the healthy air we breathe. It doesn’t have to be outside or for a greater cause, because our indoor surroundings are important too.
I slowly went to all “greener” lightbulbs. I freecycle because it’s the sensible thing to do. I don’t go overboard, I just do what I can a little at a time. If everyone did just a little, it would be such a green planet. Instead we have a handful of people trying to do it all. And history repeats itself!
