        • Mine is the Prayer of St. Francis:

          Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
          Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
          where there is injury,pardon;
          where there is doubt, faith;
          where there is despair, hope;
          where there is darkness, light;
          and where there is sadness, joy.

          O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
          to be consoled as to console;
          to be understood as to understand;
          to be loved as to love.
          For it is in giving that we receive;
          it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
          and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

        • Prayer To St.Jude
          St.Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of: pray for me who am so miserable; pray for me that finally I may receive the consolation and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities , tribulations and sufferings , particularly (here make your request), and that I may bless God with the Elect throughout Eternity.
          Amen

        • Irish Blessing
          May the roads rise to meet you,
          May the wind be always at your back,
          May the sun shine warmupon your face,
          The rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again
          May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

          (not a prayer but a nice sentiment)

        • Do you mean the Lord’s prayer?

          Our Father, who art in heaven,
          hallowed be thy name;
          thy kingdom come;
          thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
          Give us this day our daily bread;
          and forgive us our trespasses
          as we forgive those who trespass against us;
          and lead us not into temptation,
          but deliver us from evil.

          For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
          now and for ever.

          Amen.

        • Thank you.  There are many forms of prayers and the one we listed here are formal prayers.  We do have other form like the contemplative and centering prayers as well.  Thank you for reading these.  It is like using someone quotes to pray.  God bless.

        • Vicki, I like the Irish blessings as well.  I do pray to St. Jude, for impossible clause.  It works miracles.
