I saw an article about a new study that reveals that if you are going to part with your hard-earned dough, spending it on a day at the beach or a night out with friends rather than a new handbag is much better for your health. The research show at the annual meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, shows that the handbag is likely to lose its appeal much sooner than the happy memories of get-togethers.   For me thats no news, and it’s about time it was lay to rest. Ha! Ha! Ha!

        • I read that people that have pets live longer and are more stress free. We have 2 dogs and though it’s a wonderful to have them it doesn’t seem to be helping my husband. I enjoy taking them for a walk. One a time, gets me out of the house! LOL

        • I think that like the bible says material things will pass away but only what we do for Christ will last. It is so much more important for us to impact each others lives than to buy a purse. Theres nothing wrong with having a new bag, but it doesn’t compare to bringing a smile to someones face or hugging someone who doesn’t expect it or helping someone in need. There is a reward in those things that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. Bless you sis.
