Do you think the government should:

      Open the gas reserves?
      Drill?
      Do nothing and wait?

There are clear benefits and risks to both. What do you think???

        • Suck it up - it’ll change again.
Pay it for now and hope for the best. hopefully those options will never BE a ‘have to’

        • Start drilling before the gas reserves are opened so a back up is in place. If it gets tight, then open up the reserves.... but for pete sakes, start doing Some Thing!

        • I say do nothing.  Let supply and demand control the price like the market should  work.  If we all cut back as far as possible on our usage, the price will eventually go down.  Or we'll all get used to using less and not care so much about the price.

And if that doesn’t work, drill responsibly and most of all, let’s really get serious about alternative fuels for goodness sakes!

        • I paid $63 to put 15 gallons of gas in my car yesterday. I really don’t want to limit my summer fun because of oil prices. I will tho.....

I definitely don’t think we should break into the reserves. Especially since its not crisis mode. I do think we need to consider drilling and all the benefits associated with it.

So this summer I will do one of the following to replace my wanderlust:

          Eat chocolate
          Work out
          Home improvement projects
          Dig in the dirt
          Watch the travel channel
Focus on my Stella & Dot
          Have some more chocolate estatic
