I was watching CNN this morning and saw the most wonderful report. There’s an organization in New York called Ample Harvest that pairs gardeners with too high a yield to eat thenmselves with community pantries that supply food to needy families.

If you go to [Link Removed] and plug your zip code in the database will search for a food pantry in your area to either donate to if you‘re a gardener or to visit if you are in need of assistance with good food for your family.

The founder of the organization is also the CNN hero of the week but his name escapes me.
