      Happy Wednesday!

I just read Chocolatiers response on Fat Tuesday and it made me pause....

      Really what is important?

Is it more important that my house is clean and organized? Or is it spending time with my family?

Is it really that important that my office get cleaned out? Or should I go outside and get some fresh air?

      Really? What is important?

        • To me...and i don’t follow this but i will someday, but to me whats important are the things that when you‘re lying on your deathbed , you will be glad you did along with the things and people you’ve had in your life. I guess what I’m saying is not having regrets...so if a clean house is more important to you that fresh air and being out playing or squirreling away your money instead of spending it and travelling and enjoying life then so be it..as long as you have no regrets in the end...that is what is important to me. Im working on it.

        • In my opinion it’s important to spend time with your family, it’s important to keep you house/work area clean, it’s important to take time for yourself, it’s important to give to others.  So, it’s all important, the trick is learning to prioritize and juggle all of them while not stressing yourself out.

In the past year I learned one thing, when you are busy doing nothing, you have no time for anything. estatic

I used to be busy 24/7 with work, lots of kids, volunteering, etc. and did it all without ever being late. Now I sit home doing nothing besides juicing, therapies, and healthy way of life (which is a job and a half) at the end of the day I’m exhausted and I got nothing done, and that’s very frustrating.

So Ladies, slow down but don’t stop. Prioritize, and little by little get it all done.

        • Hi Ladies,

whats more important to me is spending quality time with my hubby seeing we both work a lot of hours him more so thn me so when we can get the time in I rather spend it doing things with him, other than keeping a well clean and organized apartment and spending time with my girls and my grand daughter she is growing up so fast she’ll be 6 this year wow where did the time go!? ohhhhestatic

        • Keeping food on the table and a roof over my head are pretty important.  Spending time with family is important. anything else is just icing on the cake.

        • @Yana, doing nothing is doing something - you are doing yourself a favor; taking care of yourself.  Do you get it?  Do not blame yourself for nothing is being done. heart

        • As for me, what’s important to me is “God“.  If I have Him in my mind, my heart and my soul, I have everything... all else are not as important for He will guide me to know and take care of what is important.

        • God, family, living and enjoying life, people, thinking, listening, goal-setting, giving back to society, being grateful and appreciating God’s beauty throughout the land are some areas of importance to me.

Living a balanced life allows time to keep a clean home too!
