      Ladies,

When I was a teenager I had, what I thought was, the perfect little shape. My gorgeous legs came from running track and my curvaceous body was the result of being a straddle jumping, cart wheeling, booty shakin' cheerleader.

But it didn't stop there. My very active lifestyle continued into adulthood with jogging, playing tennis and dancing practically every day and night. I loved to show off my size four figure to men and especially to women.

Of course, that was THEN! :)

Flip the script 30 years and here I am dealing with the battle of the bulge.  But you know what—even with that I still feel good about me because now I realize beauty is only skin deep.  Even though I only have eyes for my sexy, handsom husband (unless Denzel calls), I can still turn a few heads.  I carry an air of confidence about who I am.  I am not intimidated or threatened by someone who may have a better figure because I know who I am inside and that’s sexier and prettier today than it was back then.

With that being said, what do you think is your best feature these days?

        • Girl, Confidence is the new sexy.

We are so alike. I played sports all through high school and college. Cheered, even modeled for a couple of years. I did not ever have to worry about the battle of the bulge.

Fast forward 25 years later and I am having to watch what I eat. I hate working out.

But, still ... It is more about the beauty within. I have more confidence than I did then. Alot of us do.

Confidence is so sexy and you got it going on...

          Have a great night!

Okay - on to topic, but not before I tell Lu how beautiful she is, and how much I love her red hair. I have tried unsuccessfully to create a shade of red I am happy with, but my fuschia experience cured me of that. LOL

Best feature - hmmm, I have no boobs since I have lost weight. And my husband tells me my butt is disappearing (although I think it was just the too big pants I had on.) I have been battling the bulge too and have found a way to win. 46 lbs down, 4 to go! Do we have to pick something physical? Everyone tells me I have a nice smile, but really think it is sincerity they see. I agree that it is what is on the inside that really matters. My mother always use to preach to me (as I primped in the mirror) beauty is as beauty does.

        • this is tough for me
I used to weigh 148-153 at 6’ tall. Was always told my eyes were beautiful, dark brown, but somtime hazel popped in! Had perfect skin. Perfect boobs, lol and for someone as tall small features thanks to my tiny mom.

After getting sick, MS, I am stuck in a wheel-chariot 95% of the time. Due to some of my meds, face breakouts, weight gain, dry skin, etc. I really do not feel I have any good features now. It is hard going from the vivacious woman i was to where i am now. I was always on the go, never stopped. Now i am lucky to get out of my house.

hmmm think i went off topic, i am sorry. one of those days i guess.

to pick one still, it would be my eyes...hmmm 2 maybe my smile!!

My eyes are squinchy when I smile, my smile is a little crooked, my ears stick out, but it all seems to work together! :o)

Otherwise, my smile, my eyes and (according to Scott) my razor-sharp wit.

Wow... I DO come with a bag of chips! ;)

Especially when I was with my dad who looked JUST like Burt Reynolds in his younger days! lol lol    I guess I would have to say my best physical feature are my eyes. They are big and brown. But I think my big heart is my best overall asset. And Darla, I too really have to watch my weight now. Especially being hypothyroid! Arghhhh!  I used to be a size 1-3, but not anymore!!!! I was
also borderline anorexic back then. I still don’t eat very much (no suppers) and can’t seem to loose the weight I want!
Age sure does play games with our bodies... and I don’t like it one bit!!! Hee Hee

Girl I can see the Shenna Easton, Really. I cannot believe you said Sally Fields. It is always Sally Fields or Marie Osmond for me. Girl, I am usually an upbeat person. Full of energy...This morning.... good Lord, I cannot fit in any of my jeans. It is really getting to me. I have started exercising more arghhhhhh. Hate it. But, I do not like the way I feel with this weight on. I am 5‘4 and 148 and a size 8 (trying to stay an 8). I weighed 150 when I had my son. What is the deal... The muffin top has gotta go.

Oh yes, this is about things we like. Sorry.... another blog... Yes, your eyes are just Gorgeous....

more importantly you have SO MUCH class my friend!

And MzTracy..... I can see your picture very well... you are a pretty woman tooooooooooooooo~!!!! I think we all have days that we just feel “Ugh, I feel ugly.” It’s time for you to go have a make-over with a friend and feel THAT beauty girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Also, you may want to invest in a parafin machine which could help TREMENDOUSLY with your dry skin. If you decide you want more information, just send me a note okay?  And big bear hugs to you for having “one of those days.” I had one YESTERDAY!!!!!

I can’t say my boobs, because they aren’t real and I really don’t think they make me who I am. They are just there. Period.

If we are talking about physical, like I said, I don’t know. I like my eyes and my lips. My boobs are too little. I never thought little boobs could sag, but they can! My butt is too wide, and it’s starting to droop too! I have saddle bags, thick knees and thick ankles. Thanks mom. But I didn’t get her statuesque frame. Nope, all this stuck on a 5‘3 frame, weighing in around 153.

All that said, I like me better than I ever have and have fewer hang ups about my body than when I was half my age! Rock on!

        • Its definately my eyes.  Not just the exotic color of Green, they are Cat Like naturally.

Green Eyes are very rare and the only color that changes colors.  Teal, blue, violet, gray, sea green, lt blue but mostly green.. Its said that Elizabeth Taylor is not Violet Eyed but actually a rare color blend of Green Eyes.  Less than two percent of worlds population has them.

Green Eyes can not be replicated genetically as they occur in culture blending and are found in every race and nationality and many countries as a rare event.

I traveled the the Yucatan and they told me people with my eyes were made in the Milkyway, however Chinese and middle eastern , see Green eyes as highly desired and valued like Diamonds or emeralds.  During the witch burning days in England and I also think new England Green Eyes were a sign of evil and in fact many psychics have Green eyes.

Green Eyes are voted the sexist color, and most seductive. Some mistake Hazel for Green as Hazel has a green cast but it dosent change and is usually brownish or yellowish.

Green Eyes can be a curse and a blessing.  Im lucky I never plucked my eye brows they have a natural shape, but Im sooo fair skinned I wash out in photos. Im part Cherokee so I have no hair on my body.  Ive never had to shave.  My sister got the hair genes.  HA.  I dont sweat, my dad dosent either, we get only damp sometimes.

Darla is so right about confidence I have tons, and empower, your lips are HOT GIRL !!!  Peeper your heart.. I just love that the best. Teeky, both my girls have a an nice rear and it never hurts to have the front too. Shopgirl you do look like Sheena Easton... Your eyes are so attractive and draw people in.

This was sooo funny. Reading. .. I took this picture for the group just now.  I covered my face with hair to show off my eyes.  Have a great evening.
