This is a horrific and amazing true story about a woman who was so profoundly abused that her personality fractured into 92 separate and distinct parts.  This is reputed to be the only story of a multiple-personality told from the perspective of the personalities themselves.  Don’t think of this as a “modern-day Sybil,” it’s not.  I saw this “woman” in an interview and that prompted my search for her book.  I am still in prayer for her (“she’s” still alive).

If you’ve read this book, I’d love to hear your thoughts.  If you haven’t, I highly recommend it.  Caution—it’s not for the faint-of-heart, it will awaken (or re-awaken, depending) your awareness of those suffering from what society calls “mental disorders.”
