...that just because we were created the weaker vessel, that (WE) as women can’t still do just as much as a man and depending on what it is, we can do it better? And why is it that some men hate it when (WE)strong independent women show that we can support not only ourselves but them as well?

        • O Lord Neicy...don’t get me started...just had a conversation about that with my sis...why is it when we women hurt, we have to suck it up many times...but when the MEN hurt, break out the Vicks, band-aids, heating pad..etc..and that is just speaking in terms of illness...the MEN have superiority issues and don’t want to be emasculated, bottom line...Hello..we women are strong, bold, eager and ready to take it on..you hear that GUYS!..lol..estatic

        • I hear ya Marya,
Tulip I was referring to the scripture portion of the weaker vessel in 1Peter 3:7

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

it’ not to say we are weak in the spiritual sense, but we are made strong through prayer and faith, yes there are some women who have a physical strength as well and some men look at that with their insecurities also but regardless as to how they want to receive it we are strong women.

        • A couple of years ago I would have been all heated up on this one. I don’t believe and never will that women are weaker than men. For awhile there I did everything I could to prove I was just as good if not better. What a waste of my time! Now I am more confident with me, so confident that I don’t have to prove anything to anyone anymore. I think I got that wisdom when I hit 41 or so.
I will be 45 in a few and now I just don’t want to waste my energy on that....
I am strong and I KNOW that women in general really are the stronger of the sex. It’s just men are offended by it being said out loud. Let them have their glory while we all really know the truthestatic

        • What I don’t get is in several area I have read human as man meaning man or woman like we are equal. I think a man is stronger physically but I have met more Spiritually stronger woman in my lifetime, than men hands down. I always question that when I see it too. I also have an Aunt who is an ordained Minister and I think she is an awesome minister.
