Who Said You Have To Grow Up With Someone To Call Them A Friend?

As we grow old we have childhood friends that come and go in our lives, not saying that all those relationships were great or even warrant the title friend, but as I have gotten older and since being here on FAB40 I have come to know that it matters not how long you’ve known a person or even if that person and you have never met in person. I feel the relationships that I have built here with you ladies has made me realize that real friendship is not about how long you’ve know a person, but the true value of that persons soul towards you and visa-versa, I feel with the relationships I have built here are more valuable to me than many of those I’ve had with those who are around me, and some I had to deplete from my life because of drama on their part and many other things, but I can honstly say that what I feel towards many of you is true and genuine. I only wished I could be nearer to you all so we all could connect in person.

I am truly grateful for all of you and I know you all feel the same of me and I thank you for that because once I befriend someone I love on them hard and its hard to let go unless you do something that would cause a breech in the relationship, but for the most part I’m a ride or die friend to the end.
I also have friends I’ve met through other people where as we‘re still close but the persons who introduced us are not, life is funny that way, but I tend not to get involved in other peoples drama why their no longer friends, I keep my ties strong with those who I bond with. And I feel I have a strong bond here with many of you ladies and I only hope that I as your friend will never let you down in your time of need, so I say to you all I love you and I’m still here when you need me!
