Ok so here I am sitting inside my apartment looking out the window and as usual this couple who lives downstairs from me have this huge white dog, ok so they take the dog out to do his business and there are signs posted in several places as well as pooper scooper bags for the poop, to "please clean up after your dogs". This couple is either illiterate and can't read or they just think they are above the law, they NEVER!, and I mean NEVER pick up after their dog I have seen it too many times where they don't, it piss'es me off because when I or someone else takes their dogs out there is a struggle for the dogs to find a spot to go because there is poop left out there that hasn't been picked up. So tomorrow I will be calling the office and reporting the couple in Apartment #4 I mean really this is a nice community and they do keep it up and some of these new comers think they are above the law. Makes no sense. SMH worriedfrown

        • Yes, people who take their dog out need to take responsibility for the poop. Sometimes there’s yucky stuff on our playground as well as the grass area around the front of our school.  We’ve all step on them!

Thanks to the pet owners who are responsible.

        • I think that is so rude! Not only do they think they are too good to fallow the rules but they are stinking up the air around the apartment building by leaving their dog’s poop laying around. P-U!heartbreak let alone accidently stepping in it. I would also say something to the manager of the building. I would think he/she would have said something by now to the residents.

I have seen people walking their dogs and just leave the poop there, It really gets me upset, not only for me who always picks up her dog poop but for the people who live on that property to have to go and pick up other’s poop because they couldn’t do it themselves.heartbreak If your going to own a dog and walk him/her then OWN IT! fallow the rules. Ok I’m done venting...lol

        • My neighbor at my old house used to let their dogs out to go on neighbor’s yards.

Finally, after cleaning up numerous times I shoveled it back on their yard... oops I golfed it into their 68 convertible [pos] Camaro’s front seats.

Needless to say, their dogs never went in my yard again!

        • Neicy, yep....except you set the bag on fire and ring their doorbell then run and watch em come stomp on the “fire“.  Ok, I’ve never done that but I’ve heard of it.

        • Kristi, yes here every pet owner did have to sign an agreement, but these people feel because we‘re not near the office building no one is going to see them but I for one am for whats right and if I can go out and scoop up my dogs poop so can the rest of them.

Eva, it would be a shame to see some get put out because of their own selfishness but if this is what has to happen oh well you gotta follow the rules lol.

        • I live in NY so they have pooper scooper laws. In the complex I live in, dogs can’t be over 30 pounds and if the owners don’t clean up (people watch), they will be fined.

        • Thats why so many apartment owners wont let ppl have pets, what a shame, I think it is a dog owners job to clean up after their dogs, So dont blame you a bit, congrats on getting something done. I love my cami(shih tzu) to death, she is my best friend, but i clean up after her, i dont anyone have to walk in that. But i guess theres always those ppl who try and ruin it for others,

        • There was a woman who walked her dog in the park years ago and I’d watch her from my kitchen window. Her dog pooped in the same spot every day and she did not pick it up. One morning I was waiting for her in my front yard with a plastic bag. As her dog pooped I walked across the street, handed her the bag and told her I’d been noticing that she has repeatedly “forgotten” her bag. Then I told her I’d wait until she picked up her dog’s poop and “suggested” that she do her best to remember her bags in the future.

          I never saw her again.estatic

        • I am a huge dog lover and I think it’s awful that some people do not take responsibility for their dog’s poop.
Heck...I even clean it up in my own backyard. But I will say my dogs are good about going in the shrubs where you can’t see them. They are a little shy when taking care of business.estatic
          But again...it’s in MY YARD.
